Good day, sir.
I am Harvey Weng, curator of Vanilla Beach.
It is my duty to oversee the vast collection of drunken scribblings,
opium-fuelled musings and often incoherent ramblings that
have made up the journal entries since Autumn 2002.
Each journal entry has been carefully scribed onto mountain
goat vellum, written in sperm whale ink and preserved in a
vial containing absynth. Each vial has been placed carefully
into the storage vaults you see before me. Once a month a
Yogi, driven crazy by veneral disease, is flown in from Jaipur
to perform a ritual purification for some of the more explicit
entries.
You may either search for a journal entry by entering keywords
such as "pigeon" or "drunken idiot" or
you may view journals by historic significance. Either way
you will be treading the path to true enlightenment.
